Here we will be discussing the steps to help you download and install the Apps, and also the compatibility requirements and device limitations for the App to function:

First, we will learn how to download and install the DAYBETTER Bluetooth control light strip. This requires an App called Apollo Lighting, which connects to the lights using the smartphone. This allows you to turn the lights on/off, control and change 16 million colors, dim the lights to your mood, or even choose your desired color effect, pop-over controls, and color temperature change just by clicking with your fingers.

1. The first step is to download the Apollo Lightning App, using the Google Play store App in the Android or Apple App store. Once downloaded, click the install icon to install it on your phone or device.
2. Next, go to the ‘settings’ option in your phone, open the ‘Bluetooth’ settings, and switch on Bluetooth, or click on the Bluetooth shortcut on the home screen by swiping down the list.
3. Now that it is connected start controlling the strip light as you want.

The next App available is the ‘Tuya Smart’ Wi-Fi control App

1. The first step is to download the Tuya Smart App using the Google Play store App in the Android or Apple App store. Once downloaded, click the install icon to install it on your phone or device.
2. Next, open the App on your Android or iOS; on the main part of the screen, click on the ‘Plus’ Icon in the top right corner of the App screen. And select the option Wi-Fi in the socket images provided.

The older versions of DAYBETTER are more compatible with the App magic home application, and the newer versions are better with Apollo Lighting. Because unsupported apps only allow access to certain features. Another application not recommended for use is Universal controller applications. This App has a record for creating connection-related issues.          

How to Connect DAYBETTER LED Lights to an App?

The following steps are to download and connect the Bluetooth control to the Apollo lighting App.      

1. The first step is to download the Apollo Lightning App using the Google Play store App in the Android or Apple App store. Once downloaded, click the install icon to install it on your phone or device.
2. Now, turn the LED lights into a socket and turn it on.
3. Next, go to the ‘settings’ option in your phone, open the ‘Bluetooth’ settings, and switch on Bluetooth, or click on the Bluetooth shortcut on the home screen by swiping down the list.
4. Then, click on the Apollo Lighting App and open it, then scan for Bluetooth, the Apollo App will automatically connect the LED strip light.

The next available App is the ‘Tuya Smart’ Wi-Fi control App. This is a general App that supports DAYBETTER.

1. The first step is to download the Tuya Smart App using the Google Play store App in the Android or Apple App store. Once downloaded, click the install icon to install it on your phone or device.
2. Now, turn the LED lights into a socket and turn it on.
3. Next, open the App on your Android or iOS; on the main part of the screen, click on the ‘Plus’ Icon in the top right corner of the App screen. And select the option Wi-Fi in the socket images provided.
4. Now, you will be given some on-screen instructions to connect the Tuya App to the led strip lights.

How to Control DAY BETTER LED Lights Using the App?                

All the LED strip lights have their customized App, and there are no standard Apps. Here are some of the common features the App provides for its users; one can switch on/ off the LED light strips, the strip color can be changed to sync with the music playing in the background, and the timer function provided in the App permits to set time to change color at specific timings and turn on and off at preset times.
